Finn Reynolds and Volodymyr Uzhylovskyi lost just two points on their serve in the first set of their doubles final in Valencia against Alexandru-Cristian Dumitru and Kristian Tumbas Kajgo, and numbers like that make it impossible for opponents to have any chance of success unless they themselves have similar statistics.  That wasn’t the case last night, with Dumitru and Tumbas Kajgo losing their serve in the third game before being broken to lose the set after 28 minutes when they had been up 40-15.

The second set was a complete disaster for the unseeded pair, winning just nine points altogether.  The only time they managed consecutive points was when they saved the first two game points at the start of the set. Reynolds and Uzhylovskyi won 6-3, 6-0 in 48 minutes, giving Reynolds his seventh ITF doubles title and 35 year old Uzhylovskyi his 41st.
