Everyone is aware that Erin Routliffe reached a new career-high ranking of world number three in doubles on Monday, but she’s not the only New Zealander to reach such a peak this week.  There are actually no fewer than four others who also have the coveted “CHR” beside their names.

Lulu Sun is up to 128 in singles after her win at Bonita Springs, and that will improve again after the French Open, no matter what her remaining results are after last night’s win.  Her doubles ranking also climbed to a new career-high of 219 after Bonita Springs and, although it slipped back three spots this week, it’s only a matter of time before that number is substantially improved.

Monique Barry has climbed to 453 in doubles, and will improve that by close to 20 places next week when her points from Villach last week get added into the system.  A good run in Otocec could see her move inside the top 400.

Kiranpal Pannu is up to 559 in the singles rankings, but that doesn’t include his title in Kingston at the weekend, which will improve that number by more than 50 places.  A quarter-final win this week will push him into the top 500 for the first time.

Corban Crowther is up to 908 in singles, and again that will improve slightly after last week’s Monastir results are added.
