They may have lost the doubles final in Miami, but their run to the final cemented Gaby Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe in their respective career-high rankings of four and five. They will take this week off before Routliffe heads to China for New Zealand’s Billie Jean King Cup Asia/Pacific Group I tournament, which starts next Tuesday. Canada are the defending champions, so Dabrowski won’t need to play until the finals in Seville at the end of the season.
